About Team TararBari

A robotics team built around curiosity, engineering, teamwork and competition.

Our Mission

We design and develop student rover systems that combine mechanics, electronics, software, science and teamwork into one challenging engineering platform.

Every great journey begins with a spark of curiosity.

For Team TararBari, that spark came in 2023, when we joined the Space Innovation Camp and participated in a Space Exploration Olympiad. At the time, robotics was completely new to us. We had never built a robot, programmed a microcontroller, or worked with motors and electronics.

Then we saw other students building robots, programming Arduino boards, connecting motors, and turning ideas into working machines. At the same time, we learned about space exploration and how organizations like NASA use satellites, robotic systems, and spacecraft to explore beyond Earth. We became fascinated.

We asked ourselves a simple question:

“If they can build robots, why can’t we?”

That question became the beginning of our journey.

We started from the very basics—learning how batteries work, how motors rotate, and how a battery can power a motor to make a simple vehicle move. Everything was hands-on. Step by step, experiment by experiment, our curiosity grew into a passion for robotics.

To develop our skills further, we joined a robotics institution where we learned programming, electronics, mechanical design, and robot building. As our knowledge grew, so did our ambitions.

Then came our first major challenge: building a Mars Rover.

We researched space exploration and Mars rovers and decided to create our own. With a budget of only 7,000 BDT, we built a small Mars Rover and equipped it with several unique features. We took our creation to the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) 2025 National Round, where we competed alongside nearly 1,000 teams.

And then came a moment we will never forget.

We won our first Gold Medal and were selected for the international round.

For us, this was more than an award. It was proof that even as young students, we could turn an idea into something real. That achievement gave us a new question:

“If we have come this far, why not go even further?”

And we did.

We continued learning through programs and organizations including Space Innovation Camp and Dreams of Bangladesh, while continuously improving our engineering and robotics skills. We redesigned and developed a much larger and more advanced Mars Rover, investing approximately 180,000 BDT in its research, development, and construction.

Our journey then took us to the WICE 2025 International Round at SEGi University, Malaysia. There, we represented Bangladesh with our Mars Rover and achieved another Gold Medal, along with the MICCA Special Gold Award.

We continued our journey through ISIF 2025 and IWC 2025, achieving further Gold Medals and earning opportunities to participate in international rounds in Indonesia.

Along the way, our work was also recognized by organizations such as Akij House, where we received appreciation for our achievements and efforts as young innovators.

But for us, the awards are not the destination.

They are milestones on a much bigger journey.

Today, Team TararBari is more than a robotics team. We are students who are learning to transform curiosity into knowledge, knowledge into engineering, and engineering into innovation.

We build robots not only for competitions, but with bigger dreams in mind—for space exploration, solving real-world problems, supporting humanity, education, research, and the challenges of tomorrow.

We know that we still have a long way to go. But every project teaches us something new. Every failure makes us better. Every idea takes us one step further.

We are students today, but we are building the skills to become the engineers, scientists, innovators, and explorers of tomorrow.

Our journey has only just begun.

We will keep learning.
We will keep building.
We will keep dreaming beyond boundaries.

And one day, we hope to see our robots go farther than competitions, farther than Earth—and perhaps, all the way to space.

Because we believe that what seems impossible today can become possible tomorrow.

How We Work

We prototype, test, fail, learn and improve. Every generation of the rover becomes a practical classroom for the entire team.
